We’re calling bands from all over Germany and neighbouring countries to apply for Cologne Commons music festival until 15 June 2015. In case the Cologne Cultural Office will promote the festival, we will pay all bands a small fee. In any case, we will reimburse travel expenses and cater for accomodation.

This year, we’ll focus on ‘classical’ bands rather than electronic music. But it doesn’t matter what musical genre you’re in to – quiet, noisy, slow, fast, expressive or modest … all is welcome.

But we require that you have released at least one album under one of the Creative Commons licences (or equally free licences). That said, it should be more than just one song or an EP, regardless if you sell it or if it is a download at no charge. But please make sure that we, the jury, can access the music somewhere.

• Name of Band, musical genre
• brief (!) info on the band
• link to your web site including photos
• download link to one of your albums licenced under one of the Creative Commons licenses (or a similar free licence)
• how many band members are there? Please provide the detailed number incl. technicians etc.
• where do you come from?
• do you need accomodation?
